Tim Coons came to
Mowglis from his home in New York in 1965 along with his brother Henry. Between
his first year in Toomai and his Den year in 1968 Tim established himself as a
leader at Mowglis including being elected by his Red Racing Crew teammates as
their Captain in his Akela year. In
addition to this he was on Gopher Squad in his panther year and Washington
Squad in Den. He rowed on the 1968 Red Racing Crew after two years as a coxswain on the
racing crew. He capped his Den year off by being Gray Brother at the Inner Circle
Ceremony.
